The security Forces found a hand grenade in a vehicle carrying activist of Non Violent Peace Force, an NGO that claim itself to be promoting peace in the country. The security force personnel made this discovery when they checked the vehicle which was plying towards the Trincomalee town at the roadblock close to the Clock tower this afternoon, Wednesday the 04th of April.
Two suspects who claimed themselves to be members of the Non Violent Peace Force (NVPF) were presently detained by the Trincomalee police.
