May 06, Colombo: Norwegian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Hans Brattskar will leave for Tiger-held Kilinochchi tomorrow.
He will meet the head of the political division of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), S.P. Thamilselvan, and other leaders and discuss hopes of revitalizing the collapsed peace process in Sri Lanka.
The Norwegian Ambassador�s visit, scheduled for two weeks ago, was postponed on security grounds at the Sri Lankan government�s request. This time the government has granted permission for the Ambassador�s visit.
