SL army troops conducting clearing operations in the Kokkuthuduwai area, north of Trincomalee found a body of a male LTTE cadre last morning (Thursday the 3rd of May). It is believed that the LTTE cadre had been wounded during the clashes with SL army troops on Sunday (29th April) and was later abandoned by the fleeing terrorists.
The troops have found a dog tag numbered as E3789 and three hand grenade along with the Body. Police is conducting further investigations.
